I am new to both the blogging world and the teaching world. As it stands I have just graduated from the Teacher's Education Program (last week) and now I am eagerly waiting by the phone, hoping one of the school districts I interviewed with call me back. So, to avoid the stress, worry and desire to eat ice cream, I'm blogging—about nothing in particular. This will one day be a wonderful blog about the experiences and reflections of a TOC. I see TOCing as a chance to learn and grow and experience different schools to better prepare me to be the best teacher I can be. The only flaw is that I am not a TOC at this point in time. But I'm optimistic I will get hired and in the mean time I will pass the time. Summer Reading anyone? I have been looking forward to having more free time for reading since Christmas (the last time I had free time for reading). I'm thinking Hunger Games (please don't tell me what happens I haven't read it yet!)
